Organization Description The Pro Bono Program assists low-income residents of Montgomery County, Maryland obtain free legal representation. Volunteer private practice attorneys provide free legal guidance and/or representation in the areas of absolute divorce, custody, name changes, adoption/guardianship, landlord/tenant (security deposits only), bankruptcy/debt collection matters, wills, powers of attorney, and, in limited circ*mstances, immigration and employment cases.

Program Description: If you are in a situation in which it is important for you to know your legal rights, but are confused about how to find a lawyer, the LAWYER REFERRAL SERVICE can assist you by telephone: HOW IT WORKS
30-minute period, he or she may charge additional fees based on their normal hourly rate.
